We are currently seeking a Lease Administrator for a short-term opportunity within a commercial real estate environment. This temporary assignment, approximately 6 weeks in duration with potential for extension, offers the opportunity to support lease administration, billing operations, and tenant coordination across commercial properties. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Role responsibilities

• Review and interpret commercial leases, abstracts, LOIs, and correspondence to extract key lease terms.
• Set up and maintain accurate billing profiles, including base rent, escalations, step-ups, and additional charges.
• Generate lease abstracts and track critical lease dates to ensure compliance.
• Post and track charges and payments within property management systems.
• Calculate and apply CAM and tax reconciliations.
• Audit commercial accounts and ensure billing accuracy.
• Apply late fees and other applicable charges to tenant accounts.
• Prepare and send correspondence, including invoices, commencement notices, and termination letters.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and investigate billing discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with arrears collections and account resolution.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for commercial properties.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Associates, BS, or relevant experience with HS Diploma or GED
  • Must have Commercial Lease Experience
  • Must have experience with either Yardi or MRI (preferably both).
  • AVID or ClickPay a plus
