Join a rapidly growing, PE-backed hospitality platform that is acquiring and integrating luxury vacation rental management companies across the U.S. This role will support the build-out of centralized accounting operations, partnering closely with acquired businesses to clean up financials, implement standardized processes, and ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance. This is a hands-on opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Role responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of 3–4 acquired companies.
  • Lead accounting cleanup efforts, including balance sheets, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Review and correct existing financial records to align with GAAP standards.
  • Manage accounts payable activities, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Establish and execute a structured monthly close process.
  • Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for portfolio companies.
  • Partner with local owners/operators and existing accountants to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into accounting systems.
  • Assist with transitioning accounting processes from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate accounting, AP, and payroll.
  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
 

Requirements

  • Property accounting experience required.
  • Prior Accounting Manager-level experience preferred; will consider strong Senior Accountants.
  • Vacation rental property management experience or hospitality experience with multiple entities is a strong plus.
  • Experience with vacation rental software (e.g., Guesty, Streamline, Track) is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Knowledge of leases and consolidations is a plus.
