We are currently seeking a Operations Associate for an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced investment environment. This role offers the opportunity to support complex investment operations, including trade execution, reconciliation, and lifecycle management across a diverse range of asset classes. The position provides strong exposure to front, middle, and back-office functions, along with opportunities for growth within a dynamic and collaborative team.

Role responsibilities

  • Support trade capture and settlement processes across a variety of asset classes.
  • Monitor the full lifecycle of trades, including derivatives, fixed income, private credit, and structured products.
  • Investigate and resolve trade and position discrepancies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with trading desks, brokers, custodians, and other counterparties to address trade-related issues.
  • Assist with complex trade lifecycle events, including restructurings, reorganizations, securitizations, and asset servicing activities.
  • Review and reconcile daily cash balances, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with a track record of strong academic performance
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, hedge fund administration, valuation or finance
  • High Yield/Credit hedge fund background preferred with solid product knowledge of credit products
  • Detailed and strong data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in both the written and verbal form
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complicated issues
  • Familiarity with EZE OMS, Geneva, Hazeltree, Solvas, and/or WSO a plus
