Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and expense accruals.
Role responsibilities
Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and expense accruals.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Support complex revenue recognition and transaction accounting (e.g., payment processing, embedded finance, digital wallets).
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering to ensure proper accounting treatment of new financial products and services.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience in FinTech, payments, or financial services required.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel/Google Sheets.
