Top Tier Investment Bank that is known for their M&A, Corporate Finance, and Financial Restructuring businesses, is looking for a Manager to join it's already impressive Corporate Controllership team, reporting into the US CAO.
Role responsibilities
- Support the CAO – US with key controllership activities, including monthly internal management reporting and analysis to provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on the company.
- Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for significant transactions, including acquisitions and debt issuances.
- Lead accounting workstreams for major initiatives such as acquisitions and capital market transactions.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, and Legal teams to structure transactions and evaluate accounting implications.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices within the accounting function.
- Support the adoption of AI tools and technologies in accounting processes.
Requirements
5–10 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or similar), with a focus on technical accounting and financial reporting.
Additional industry experience in financial services or broker-dealer environments is a plus but not required.
