Act as the primary operational partner to Traders and Portfolio Managers, providing real-time guidance on trade execution, settlement, and restructuring implications.

Role responsibilities

  • Act as the primary operational partner to Traders and Portfolio Managers, providing real-time guidance on trade execution, settlement, and restructuring implications.
  • Translate complex credit documentation into clear operational and commercial insights while supporting live deals and market activity.
  • Lead the Bank Debt Operations function with a front-office mindset, aligning operations with trading and portfolio management objectives.
  • Oversee the full loan lifecycle, including deal onboarding, trade settlements, servicing, and restructuring activities.
  • Maintain a strong control environment by managing operational risk, escalations, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a key liaison across internal teams and external counterparties, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution.
  • Drive technology enhancements, process improvements, and team development to support trading efficiency and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced financial certification preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in bank debt operations, loan trading operations, or credit operations within a bank, private credit firm, or asset manager.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Traders and Portfolio Managers  in a front‑office or desk-aligned model.
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, decisive, and highly responsive.
