Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage annual budgets and forecasts; track performance and analyze variances.
Role responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage annual budgets and forecasts; track performance and analyze variances.
- Cost Management: Oversee cost accounting, monitor variances, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Procurement Oversight: Monitor purchase price variance (PPV) and support alignment between procurement activity and cost targets.
- Internal Controls: Maintain effective controls to protect assets and ensure compliance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accuracy, valuation, and periodic reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights and reporting to support business decisions.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and leadership on key initiatives.
Requirements
- 5 + years of experience
- Plant Controller experience- including both account and finance responsibilities
- Foods or other CPG experience is preferred
