Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master. Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis.

Role responsibilities

  • Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master.
  • Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis.
  • Reference data creation and maintenance in the firms Reference Master system.
  • Maintain and monitor the data exception panel that reconciles vendor data feeds to internal data warehouse.
  • Investigate & resolve any attribute discrepancies that may arise between data vendors internal systems.
  • Daily interaction with Vendors, Risk, Technology, and Front Office teams to ensure proper creation of assets across the platform.
  • Creation and maintenance of internal strategies, UDF tags as well as clearing/executing broker accounts within firm systems.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in a Security Master, reference data, or trade support role within a hedge fund, asset manager, or financial services firm.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.

  • Knowledge of bank loan products, including both Broadly Syndicated and Private loans.

  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook.

  • Experience using IVP, Bloomberg, FIS, SunGard VPM, or SkyRoad OMS is a plus.
