Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master. Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis.
Role responsibilities
- Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master.
- Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis.
- Reference data creation and maintenance in the firms Reference Master system.
- Maintain and monitor the data exception panel that reconciles vendor data feeds to internal data warehouse.
- Investigate & resolve any attribute discrepancies that may arise between data vendors internal systems.
- Daily interaction with Vendors, Risk, Technology, and Front Office teams to ensure proper creation of assets across the platform.
- Creation and maintenance of internal strategies, UDF tags as well as clearing/executing broker accounts within firm systems.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in a Security Master, reference data, or trade support role within a hedge fund, asset manager, or financial services firm.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
Knowledge of bank loan products, including both Broadly Syndicated and Private loans.
Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
Experience using IVP, Bloomberg, FIS, SunGard VPM, or SkyRoad OMS is a plus.
