Role responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records for a range of investment products, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and alternative assets.
Reconcile investment positions, cost basis, and income to statements from brokers and custodians.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Support and process investment-related transactions such as purchases, sales, income accruals, and corporate actions using Yardi software.
Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
Assist with performance analysis, benchmarking, and audit inquiries.
Collaborate across finance teams to optimize reporting processes and implement improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Prior experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, or financial reporting.
Hands-on proficiency with Yardi software is required.
Strong understanding of securities, investments, and accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with investment management systems are a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and in team settings during the contract term.
